Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical Support & Value Creation

  • Provide expert clinical support for advanced hemodynamic monitoring solutions in perioperative care, critical care, and emergency medicine.
  • Translate hemodynamic data into actionable clinical insights that support goal-directed therapy, fluid optimization, and patient safety.
  • Partner with anesthesiologists, intensivists, emergency physicians, and nursing teams to demonstrate clinical impact on outcomes, workflow efficiency, and decision-making.
  • Support initial installations, protocol implementation, and advanced clinical troubleshooting in real-world clinical settings.

2. Education & Training

  • Design and deliver structured clinical education programs for healthcare professionals, including:
    • In-service training
    • Workshops and simulations
    • Grand rounds and departmental meetings
  • Educate sales teams on:
    • Hemodynamic physiology and pathophysiology
    • Interpretation of advanced monitoring parameters
    • Clinical application across OR, ICU, and ED settings
  • Serve as a clinical resource for continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.

3. Clinical Evidence & Success Case Development

  • Identify, develop, and document successful clinical use cases and best practices from leading institutions in Taiwan.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to create:
    • Case summaries
    • Clinical algorithms
    • Practice-based evidence and outcome stories
  • Support the collection of real-world clinical data to demonstrate value and inform future clinical initiatives.

4. KOL Engagement & Quality Improvement Programs

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in anesthesiology, critical care, and emergency medicine.
  • Initiate and support Quality Improvement (QI) programs, including:
    • Goal-directed therapy initiatives
    • Perioperative optimization pathways
    • ICU hemodynamic protocols
  • Participate in the design and execution of observational studies, pilot programs, or investigator-initiated studies in alignment with local regulations.
  • Support scientific exchange, advisory boards, and local clinical forums.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Technical Service teams to ensure cohesive customer engagement and high-quality clinical support.
  • Provide clinical insights and user feedback to support product improvement, market strategy, and educational content development.
  • Support local conferences, exhibitions, and academic meetings as a clinical representative.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
    • Nursing
    • Biomedical Science
    • Life Sciences
    • Clinical Engineering
    • or related healthcare field
  • Advanced clinical education (e.g., CRNA, ICU/OR nursing, or equivalent) is highly preferred.

Clinical Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in one or more of the following:
    • Anesthesiology / Operating Room
    • Intensive Care Unit
    • Emergency Department
  • Strong background in hemodynamics, critical care, or perioperative medicine is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

  • Solid understanding of hemodynamic physiology and monitoring technologies
  • Strong teaching and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse clinical audiences
  • Scientific mindset with interest in clinical research and quality improvement
  • Excellent communication skills in Mandarin Chinese; working proficiency in English preferred
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple clinical sites, and travel as required
  • High professional ethics with a patient-centered and evidence-based approach
