Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our data team. In this role, you will help build and maintain data pipelines, support analytics and reporting needs, and contribute to the overall data infrastructure development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their data architecture and engineering skills and gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic business operations environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and data models for various integrated analytics solutions
  • Support the ingestion, cleaning, transformation, and flow of structured and unstructured data.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to deliver reliable datasets.
  • Monitor data workflows, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
  • Ensure downstream data quality and integrity.
  • Participate in maintaining data documentation, dictionaries, and metadata.
  • Learn and apply best practices related to data architecture, data modeling, and data governance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Foundational experience with: Python, SQL, DAX, Power BI
  • Understanding of relational databases
  • Proficient use of version control tools such as Git.
  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in data engineering or data analytics role.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Exposure to data pipeline tools (e.g., Databricks, Fabric, etc).
  • Knowledge of APIs and data integration methods.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud (coursework or project experience is acceptable).

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong appetite for learning new technologies and tools.
  • Strong problem‑solving, solution engineering mindset.
  • Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
