The Product Manager will report to the Associate Marketing Director and oversee the national marketing plan for the Acute Care & Critical Care portfolios within the Urology and Critical Care business unit.

The Product Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of a consistent and integrated marketing and sales strategy for the portfolio of products in order to meet established sales and category share targets. They will work as part of a cross functional and collaborative team that is responsible for developing a marketing strategy and value proposition that drives customer interest, lead generation, lead conversion, customer loyalty and retention.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial budgets and projections for platform revenue performance and profitability supported by market trends
• Support global business reviews with data driven analysis
• Drive strategic fact-based market planning activities and tactical implementation to accelerate growth for the platforms
• Develop a strategic product lifecycle management plan for products in the portfolio
• Plan and execute market research, product launch activities, conferences and marketing campaigns to ensure effective and rapid customer adoption of BD technology
• Develop and manage market communication plans and sales tools
• Partner with the sales team for commercial activities such as customer site visits, conferences and technical presentations
• Support and participate in GPO planning and responsible for RFP responses
• Be the local subject matter expert on products within portfolio

Education and Experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of marketing medical device experience.
• Knowledge and experience of the Canadian Healthcare System and regulatory environment.

Knowledge and Skills required:

• Excellent command of information/data and ability to drive decisions.
• Advanced verbal, written and presentation, communication skills
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Organized and proactive with demonstrated ability to multitask and balance competing priorities.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
• Strong financial acumen.

Preferred qualifications:

• Postgraduate degree, MBA an asset.​
• Medical device acute care setting experience preferred.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, Marketo, etc.) an asset.

Physical demand & Work Environment

• Ability to travel up to 30%, may include nights and some weekend in Canada and US.

Salary ranges have been implemented to reward associates fairly and competitively, as well as to support recognition of associates’ progress, ranging from entry level to experts in their field, and talent mobility. There are many factors that contribute to the range displayed. The range displayed is comprised of wages, which includes base salary and commission, as well as certain components of our bonus programs. The salary offered to a successful candidate may vary based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, education, skills, qualifications, and work location. 

Salary Range Information:  $85000 - $135000 CAD annual.
