Why join this team
This is a chance to be part of a high-impact global capability community at the start of its journey. The role combines facilitation, coaching, digital learning, analytics, AI-enabled innovation and change enablement. It offers broad exposure to senior commercial leaders, global curriculum owners and cross-functional partners, with the opportunity to influence how sales capability is deployed, reinforced and measured at scale.
Main Responsibilities
1. Training Delivery and Facilitation
• Deliver engaging instructor-led, virtual and blended sales capability training in English and at least one additional European language.
• Facilitate learning for sales representatives, KAMs/SAMs, frontline sales managers and other in-scope customer-facing roles across multiple European markets.
• Bring global sales methodology, sales process, manager coaching, commercial technology and advanced selling curricula to life in a practical and commercially relevant way.
• Use practical exercises, role plays, simulations and relevant sales scenarios to build application in day-to-day customer interactions.
• Adapt examples and facilitation to market and BU contexts while protecting the integrity of approved learning objectives, methodology and materials.
• Create an inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, practice, reflection and peer learning.
2. Deployment and Learning Operations
• Coordinate assigned training deployments with European, Business Unit and market stakeholders.
• Ensure learner readiness through clear prework, preparation and alignment with local stakeholders.
• Deliver onboarding, refresher training, reinforcement activities and assessments in line with the European deployment plan.
3. Coaching and Field Enablement
• Enable frontline sales managers to reinforce learning through consistent coaching language, tools and routines.
• Facilitate agreed observation and coaching activities linked to real sales situations.
• Equip managers with practical reinforcement resources and capture field insights to improve learning application.
4. Stakeholder Partnership
• Build strong relationships with BU Commercial Excellence and Sales Enablement teams, sales leaders and relevant support functions.
• Align deployment plans with European priorities, market calendars and local business needs.
• Partner with BUs, which own product and clinical training, to embed the language and terminology of centrally delivered sales capability curricula, creating a coherent and mutually reinforcing learning experience.
• Work with curriculum owners and stakeholders to balance global consistency with local relevance.
• Act as a credible ambassador for Sales Enablement and Capability across assigned markets.
• Share best practices and scalable deployment approaches across the global SFE capability community.
5. Certification, Quality and Continuous Improvement
• Complete and maintain required trainer certification for assigned global and regional curricula.
• Promote quality and consistency across the European community of BDX and BU trainers through shared learning and visibility of training initiatives.
• Gather learner, manager and stakeholder feedback to improve content, facilitation, deployment and reinforcement.
• Collect and report agreed learning, participation, assessment and adoption measures.
• Analyse learning data, assessment results and commercial adoption indicators to evaluate application, identify trends and highlight capability gaps.
• Recommend targeted reinforcement actions and provide leaders and managers with clear insights into progress and areas requiring further support.
Competencies and Skills
Facilitation and Adult Learning
• Proven ability to facilitate adult learning in instructor-led, virtual and blended environments.
• Strong command of adult-learning principles, experiential learning, practice, feedback and debriefing.
• Skilled in questioning, active listening and managing group dynamics.
• Ability to engage experienced sales professionals and frontline managers.
Language Capability
• Professional fluency in English and at least one additional European language relevant to the assigned market coverage.
• Ability to facilitate training and complex commercial discussions fluently in both required delivery languages.
