Job Description
We are looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our regional Medical Affairs team in a newly created role dedicated to France.
This is an exciting opportunity to become a key scientific partner to healthcare professionals across the French market, with a primary focus on vascular and peripheral intervention, alongside our oncology portfolio.
As our MSL for France, you will build trusted scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), vascular specialists, oncology collaborators and multidisciplinary clinical teams. You will facilitate relevant scientific exchange, bring insights from the field into our organization and help shape the execution of our Medical Affairs strategy in France.
If you combine scientific curiosity with strong relationship-building skills and enjoy working in a field-based, highly collaborative environment, this could be an excellent next step in your career.
Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Build and develop strong scientific relationships with national and regional KOLs, healthcare professionals, clinical teams and researchers across France.
- Lead high-quality scientific exchanges around vascular disease, peripheral intervention, oncology, clinical evidence and evolving patient care pathways.
- Act as a trusted field-based scientific resource for our Peripheral Intervention and Oncology portfolios, with a primary focus on vascular therapies.
- Capture insights and unmet medical, clinical and educational needs from the French healthcare environment and translate them into meaningful input for Medical Affairs strategy.
- Work closely with Regional and Global Medical Affairs teams on scientific priorities, evidence generation, education and partner engagement.
- Partner cross-functionally with Commercial and Marketing teams while maintaining Medical Affairs independence, scientific integrity and compliance.
- Develop and deliver scientific presentations and contribute to scientific and educational materials.
- Support advisory boards, scientific meetings, symposia, educational programs and hospital-based initiatives.
- Attend relevant French and international congresses and scientific meetings, sharing key insights with internal partners.
- Identify potential investigators, clinical experts and research or evidence-generation partners.
- Provide scientific education and training to customer-facing colleagues, ensuring information is accurate, balanced and evidence-based.
- Continuously develop your expertise across vascular disease, interventional medicine, oncology, clinical evidence and the evolving healthcare landscape.
About you
We are looking for someone who brings a strong scientific or clinical foundation together with the curiosity and communication skills needed to succeed in Medical Affairs.
You will ideally have:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Medicine or another relevant scientific field.
- An advanced scientific or clinical qualification such as a PhD, PharmD, MD, MSc, RN or equivalent would be an advantage.
- A strong scientific or clinical background, ideally within cardiovascular disease, vascular medicine, interventional medicine, oncology or a related area.
- The ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex clinical and scientific data in an engaging and credible way.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and the confidence to engage with healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Strong relationship-building, collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.
- An understanding of clinical research, evidence generation, scientific methodology or clinical practice would be beneficial.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
- Curiosity, learning agility and the motivation to continually build your scientific and Medical Affairs expertise.
- Salary range: 65-75k fixed base + bonus+ corporate benefits
Previous Medical Affairs or MSL experience is advantageous, but not essential. We are also interested in candidates from clinical, scientific, research, pharmaceutical or medical device backgrounds who have the right scientific foundation and are motivated to develop their career within Medical Affairs.
Why join us?
This is more than an opportunity to step into an MSL position. As a newly created role for France, you will have the opportunity to establish meaningful relationships across the French healthcare community and help strengthen our Medical Affairs presence locally.
You will work at the intersection of science, clinical practice and innovation, collaborating with experts across France as well as regional and global colleagues.
If you are passionate about science, enjoy turning clinical evidence into meaningful conversations and want your work to contribute to better healthcare, we would love to hear from you.
