Job Description

Job Summary

The Business Analyst - Specification Management will play a critical role in driving business performance through data-driven insights and analytics. This position is responsible for managing, tracking, and analyzing key business metrics, including IMS, TMS, segment performance (including CAP), distributor inventory levels, FDS, and marketing campaign effectiveness.

The incumbent will support the tracking and reporting of Key Driver Goals (KDGs) and performance against defined business metrics for weekly and monthly operating and business reviews. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Medical Affairs, and other cross-functional teams, this role will contribute to informed decision-making and achievement of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Medical Affairs, and other cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret business data to drive performance improvements.
Manage and maintain business data related to IMS, TMS, segment performance, FDS, CAP sales, distributor inventory levels, and marketing campaigns.
Publish daily sales and order status reports.
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity of business data while adhering to established timelines.
Generate actionable insights and recommendations to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
Develop, maintain, and automate reports, dashboards, and performance trackers for operating and business reviews.
Monitor and track KDG performance against defined metrics and provide regular updates to leadership teams.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and data governance to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
Partner with stakeholders to establish data standards, reporting requirements, and performance measurement frameworks.
Support internal and external audits related to data management, reporting processes, and business controls.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and data management best practices.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience in analysing business data and presenting insight to management and enabling business decisions

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
* Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
* Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
* Experience with requirements management software (e.g., SAP, Xylem, Salesforce etc) is a plus.
