Under direct supervision, trains to perform duties related to the preparation and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and/or medical devices in accordance with standard operating procedures, as regulated by quality, environmental, and safety agencies (FDA, OSHA, etc.).

Housekeeping and sanitization Activities:

• Perform area cleaning inspections to identify and report findings in accordance with company protocols.

• Complete all regulatory training as assigned (GPM’s, ISO14001, OSHA, etc.).

• Continuously looking the ways to simplify or improve products, services, systems, and processes to achieve business goals, e.g., cleaning, standardization and sanitization

• Ensure execution of daily, weekly, monthly, and event‑driven cleaning/sanitization tasks according to SOP and validated procedures.

• Review and approve all sanitization logs, checklists, and solution preparation records for accuracy and completeness.

• Ensure proper cleaning flow, room status control, residue management, and segregation of materials and tools.

• Write or contribute to deviation reports, root cause analyses, and CAPAs related to cleaning and sanitization.

• Ensure all the cleaning activities / implemented effectively and sustained across shifts (1st, 2nd. 3rd 4th and 5th).

• Ensure proper maintenance, storage, and retrieval of sanitation records for internal and FDA audits.

• Support document control, SOP updates, PM’s control, create visual Aids and periodic review of sanitization procedures.

• Oversee inventory management of cleaning/disinfectants, wipes, mops, and cleaning equipment.

• Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and sanitation of floor scrubbers, vacuums, foggers, and other tools.

• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemical agents and regulated waste.

• Provide supporting documentation, explain sanitization processes, and respond to auditor questions.

Education and Experience

• GDE certificate and 12 months of work experience in a manufacturing environment is required

• Work experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or industry that comply with GMP is highly preferred. 

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.

• Proficient PC navigation to enter data into programs/software applications as instructed and use software applications for mail, word processing, spreadsheets and other job specific needs is required.

• Ability to communicate and effectively work as part of a team is required.
