Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Specialist to support and strengthen our quality processes within a highly regulated distribution environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with different teams and improving processes that make a real impact.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System in line with regulatory standards and internal requirements
• Investigating non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints using root cause analysis and implementing effective CAPA actions
• Managing quality activities related to supplier qualification, approval, and ongoing performance review for critical suppliers
• Supporting pharmaceutical quality assurance activities and acting as QA delegate or back-up for the Responsible Person when required
• Monitoring quality performance data, identifying trends, and recommending practical improvements to products and processes
• Working closely with operations, regulatory affairs, supply chain, and other teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout storage and distribution
• Maintaining document control processes for quality records, procedures, and compliance documentation
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and operational excellence

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor/Master's degree in a scientific discipline (preferably pharmaceutical sciences, doctor/or master in (veterinary) medicines, chemistry, biology, biomedical sciences or bio engineer sciences).
• A first experience in a quality role within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or another highly regulated environment
• Good knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 13485 and strong understanding of GMP and GDP requirements
• Experience managing investigations, root cause analysis, CAPA, and process improvement activities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with quality management software (e.g., QMS platforms) is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Dutch
