Job Summary

The Application Specialist will provide expert technical support and training to customers on Becton Dickinson (BD) products, ensuring optimal product utilization and customer satisfaction within the Vietnam market. This role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, and service teams to drive product adoption and address customer technical needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive technical presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to customers, including end-users, laboratory personnel, and healthcare professionals, on BD instruments, reagents, and software solutions.

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for BD products, troubleshooting technical issues, resolving application-related problems, and ensuring proper instrument calibration and functionality.

• Collaborate with the sales team during pre-sales activities, assisting with product evaluations, technical discussions, and proposal development to secure new business opportunities.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions that align with BD's product portfolio.

• Conduct post-installation follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and address any ongoing application or technical requirements.

• Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify product improvements and contribute to the development of new solutions.

• Prepare and submit regular reports on customer activities, technical issues, and market trends.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and new product releases to maintain a high level of technical expertise.

• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including those related to quality and compliance.

Job Qualifications:

• Clinical Microbiology experience is a must.

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting or as an Application Specialist in the medical device or diagnostics industry.

• Proven expertise in operating and troubleshooting laboratory instruments, particularly those related to microbiology, or molecular diagnostics.

• Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) in both English and Vietnamese.

• Ability to effectively train and educate diverse audiences on complex technical topics.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a customer-centric approach.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Ability to travel frequently within Vietnam and occasionally internationally as required.

• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
