Job Description Summary

The Supply Planner, EMEA, will play an active role in translating the key element of the business strategies into tactical functional initiatives to meet the service and objectives across all regions. The position will determine the quantities by product required to maintain target inventory levels and with the appropriate lead time to order product from source to replenish. The position will coordinate finished goods sourcing activities across global plants and external supplier network optimizing available capacity and assets. Drive S&OP Supply consensus and macro level capacity management. Recommend and set inventory levels to support the regions’ service levels in alignment with the global business and Supply Chain objectives.

Job Description

Main responsibilities will include:

• Develop and maintain the material forecasts used for planning purposes.
• Provide guidance to the regions on business strategy and inventory levels, recommend replenishment models, and ensure alignment with agreed to business decisions globally.
• Translates business / supply chain / inventory needs into supply needs.
• Manage the scheduling and inventory control of the assigned product groups. Define the appropriate manufacturing strategy for their product portfolio aligned with manufacturing practices.
• Assist in the implementation of go-to-market plans, specifically establishing initial stocking quantities, target inventory levels at distribution center locations, lead product changes and support launches.
• Ensure the supply of materials meet all requirements and minimum stock levels to ensure production continuity to meet customer demand, production build targets, and finished goods safety stock.
• Focus on process improvements and planning system expertise in order to facilitate excellent customer service and asset management.

About you

• Experience: Solid background in supply chain management, inventory control, and demand planning.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze supply trends, optimize planning models, and improve key metrics.
• Collaboration & Communication: Effective communicator with cross-functional teams and global supply planners.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with forecasting tools, demand planning software, and ERP systems
• Advanced English skills
