In the role ofMedical AffairsInternyou willassistin the development and implementation ofnovelkey opinion leader (KOL) management and engagement program. You will work alongside experienced medical affairs teammembers, andengage in medical writing to support scientific exchange with healthcare providers and publications. You will alsobe responsible forcompleting projects as assigned and presenting deliverables to a multi-functional team.Must be able to work onsite Monday through Thursday in our offices in Mississauga, ON, and work from home on Fridays.

Job Responsibilities:
- As you engage in medical writing to support scientific exchange with health care providers, this will include both on and off-label conversations, supporting responses to regulatory inquiries and/or documentation, and drafting of manuscripts for peer reviewed publications.
- Prepare standard reports/documentation to communicate results to technical and clinical community (e.g., Journal clubs), among others.
- You will develop and apply scientificexpertiseto advance clinical practice, collaborating with external stakeholders to co-create solutions for improved patient care.
- As an example, you will support the design and implementation of ongoing training for sales, marketing, and medical affairs teammember.
Education and Experience required:
- You must be currently enrolled in a qualifying undergraduate program (Bachelor’s)or graduate program (Master’s).Qualifying studiesincludes:Lifesciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Laboratory Medicine, Pre-Medical or Medical, Public Health University Program.
- Eligible candidates must be on track to graduate in 2026 or 2027 from an accredited university.
- Must be in good academic standing pursuing their degree (transcript may berequired), combined with the ability to work from May 11 to August 21, 2026.
Skills and Knowledge required:
- Sound understanding of medical terminology and medical scientific writing skills
- Ability to collect, analyze, and present clinical data.
- Effective communication and presentation skills and ability to interact with varying clinical and management leaders, ability to teach clinical data to audiences of varying size.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools, (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong listening, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Ability to prioritize assignments. Strong time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal guidance and supervision.
- Strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the medical technology industry and/or experience working with clients/patients in hospital, innursing, laboratory medicine, public health or biomedical engineering is an asset.

Our salary or hourly rate rangesrewardassociates fairly and competitively. We regularly review these ranges and factors, such as location, contributeto the range displayed.
Our pay is based on the role and the necessary skills and education to perform it successfully. The salary or hourly rate offered isdeterminedby therole'sspecific requirements, including any applicable step rate pay system at the work location. Salary or hourly pay ranges are influenced by labor laws and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) requirements applicable to the worklocationwhich may also affect the workplace arrangement of the role.
Salary Range Information: $24 CAD Hourly
