Job Description Summary

Ready to accelerate your Product Management career in a portfolio that impacts 90% of patients?

Job Description

At BD, possibility isn’t an idea. It’s what we do. We are the Makers of Possible.

Step into a role where “consumables” are anything but simple. BD’s Infusion Preparation & Delivery portfolio is at the heart of safe medication delivery across hospitals and healthcare systems. These products are clinically complex, highly regulated, fiercely competitive and form the backbone of medication delivery workflows used every day across Australia and New Zealand.

As a Product Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping strategy, driving commercial success, and influencing clinical practice. This is an ideal opportunity for a Product Manager who’s sharp, commercially minded, ready to take calculated risks, and eager to accelerate their career within a global MedTech leader.

Your Day-to-Day

In this role, you’ll blend strategy, commercial insight, and cross‑functional leadership to grow one of BD’s most mission‑critical portfolios.

Your day will include:

  • Driving sustainable growth by leading portfolio planning, strategy, and execution
  • Developing local marketing strategies and campaigns aligned with ANZ objectives
  • Partnering with Sales to identify opportunities, shape customer conversations, and build product advocacy
  • Providing deep product and clinical knowledge to internal teams and external customers
  • Leading key projects and initiatives, representing Specimen Management at cross‑functional forums
  • Conducting market research, competitive analysis and customer segmentation
  • Supporting tender submissions, pricing strategy and resource planning
  • Managing forecasting, inventory discussions, and financial performance of the portfolio
  • Working with regulatory, quality, supply chain, and global marketing teams to ensure product continuity and compliance
  • Building relationships with KOLs and clinical stakeholders to drive awareness and adoption
  • Preparing marketing materials, sales tools, education resources and product messaging

About You

You’re a rising star in Product Management; smart, curious, analytical, and eager to grow. You thrive on solving complex problems, influencing stakeholders, and pushing boundaries when needed to get things done.

You’ll bring:

  • 1-2+ years of Product Management or relevant commercial/marketing experience (MedTech, pharma or healthcare preferred)
  • Strong commercial instincts and the confidence to make informed, calculated decisions
  • Critical thinking - able to evaluate market dynamics, weigh risks, and challenge assumptions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clinical stakeholders and translate technical insights into strategy
  • Experience with market research, segmentation, pricing, or product strategy
  • Strong stakeholder management across Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Finance and Marketing
  • High attention to detail, self‑motivation and a desire to learn fast
  • A degree in business, marketing, science, nursing, engineering or related field

If you’re ambitious, commercially sharp, and ready to take a step up — this is the portfolio that will stretch and grow you.
