The role is responsible for developing and driving the people strategy across PI ISC and Quality by aligning talent, organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, culture, and workforce strategies with business priorities. The Associate Director acts as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and ensures a consistent, enterprise-wide approach to building organizational capability and leadership effectiveness.

In addition, this role serves as the primary HR leader for the PI manufacturing network. The Senior HR Manager, GFO is a direct report to this position, while HR leaders supporting Enniscorthy (Ireland), Karlsruhe (Germany), Wangs (Switzerland), Reynosa (Mexico), and Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) maintain a strong matrix relationship with this role for strategic direction, capability building, talent reviews, and organizational planning.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Serve as strategic HR advisor to the VP ISC PI and VP Quality PI

  • Participate as a member of the PI ISC and Quality

  • Translate business strategy into people, talent, and organizational priorities.

  • Provide coaching and consultation to senior leaders on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, culture, and business transformation.

  • Drive alignment between PI business objectives and enterprise HR strategies.

Organization Effectiveness & Transformation

  • Lead organization design, operating model, and workforce planning initiatives across PI ISC and, Quality.

  • Assess organizational capability and develop plans to address gaps required to achieve strategic objectives.

  • Drive change management efforts associated with business transformation, operational excellence, network changes, acquisitions, and growth initiatives.

  • Guide leadership teams on organizational structure, operating mechanisms, governance, and role clarity.

Talent Strategy & Leadership Development

  • Own the talent strategy for PI ISC and Quality leadership populations.

  • Lead succession planning and talent review processes for critical leadership roles.

  • Partner with Talent Management to accelerate leadership development and readiness.

  • Drive talent pipeline development and workforce planning strategies.

  • Champion inclusion, associate engagement, and leadership effectiveness across the organization.

Manufacturing Network HR Leadership

  • Provide strategic direction to HR leaders across the PI manufacturing network.

  • Directly lead the Senior HR Manager supporting GFO.

  • Partner with Regional ISC HR Leaders to ensure consistency in HR strategy execution across PI manufacturing sites.

  • Create strong connections between plant HR leaders and PI business priorities.

Culture, Engagement & Employee Relations

  • Shape a high-performance, accountable, and engaged culture.

  • Utilize engagement, retention, and talent metrics to identify organizational risks and opportunities.

  • Provide strategic guidance on complex employee relations matters involving leadership populations.

  • Partner with AccessHR, Legal, and COEs on sensitive organizational and people matters.

HR Function Leadership

  • Act as the senior HR representative and visible HR leader across PI ISC and Quality.

  • Partner closely with COEs, ASC, AccessHR, and regional HR teams to deliver integrated HR solutions.

  • Leverage workforce analytics and HR metrics to drive business decisions and measure effectiveness.

  • Sponsor strategic HR initiatives and continuous improvement efforts aligned with the ISCQ HR roadmap.

Other Responsibilities

  • Manages projects or processes contributing to the overall HR community and common agenda per request.

  • Leads special projects related to the customer groups. Understands the goal, develop and implement project process and develops and presents sound proposals. 

  • Responsible for other duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirement:

  • Degree level qualification; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
