Job Description Summary

The Marketing Specialist (BD Biosciences) contributes to accelerating business growth by shaping and implementing integrated marketing strategies. This position is accountable for converting strategic priorities into impactful market initiatives, supporting revenue performance, and strengthening scientific engagement with external stakeholders. The role partners closely with Commercial, Regional (AP), and Global teams to enhance market presence and drive sustainable demand generation.

Job Description

Role Summary

The Marketing Specialist (BD Biosciences) is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive marketing initiatives that support business expansion and customer adoption. This role requires strong financial awareness, structured planning capabilities, and the ability to execute multi-channel campaigns while collaborating with cross-functional and global teams.

Key Responsibilities

Business Planning & Financial Management

  • Oversee weekly and monthly revenue outlook tracking, ensuring accuracy and timely updates aligned with business targets
  • Support demand visibility by coordinating forecast with Sales and relevant stakeholders
  • Contribute to performance monitoring and provide insights to improve forecast predictability

Marketing Strategy & Annual Planning

  • Participate in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process by contributing to marketing strategy formulation
  • Translate commercial objectives into structured marketing priorities and tactics
  • Continuously refine strategies based on market dynamics, customer insights, and competitive landscape

Integrated Marketing Programs Execution

  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives leveraging a diverse mix of channels (symposium, congress etc)
  • Drive end-to-end campaign execution to enhance pipeline creation and customer engagement
  • Ensure consistency of messaging and alignment with overall value proposition

Digital Marketing & KPI Delivery

  • Design and execute digital campaigns (e.g., webinars, email campaigns, online promotions) to generate leads and nurture opportunities
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize programs to improve ROI
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to strengthen conversion and engagement effectiveness

KOL Engagement & Scientific Collaboration

  • Establish and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders to reinforce scientific credibility and influence
  • Coordinate KOL-related initiatives such as advisory boards, speaker programs, and educational events
  • Integrate scientific insights into marketing content to enhance customer relevance

New Product Introduction

  • Support the preparation and deployment of new product launch plans in partnership with regional and global teams
  • Coordinate internal readiness (sales enablement, materials, training) and external activation activities
  • Track launch performance and identify opportunities to accelerate adoption

Cross-Regional & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Asia Pacific and Global marketing teams to align on strategy, campaign execution, and messaging
  • Partner with Sales, Application, and Service teams to ensure cohesive customer engagement
  • Act as a key liaison to facilitate effective communication across various stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing (preferably in life sciences, healthcare, or related industries)
  • Strong command of English (written and verbal) for effective communication with global stakeholders
  • A master's degree or higher is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage marketing programs with ownership and accountability
  • Solid analytical mindset with an understanding of business performance metrics
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Preferred: Experience in scientific marketing, laboratory solutions, or technical products
  • A master's degree or higher is preferred.
