Job Description
The Regional Healthcare Partner supports the commercial team in identifying and developing opportunities within the public healthcare market, contributing across the entire tender lifecycle. This includes pre-tender activities, opportunity monitoring, tender management, and support for contract renegotiation and price review processes.
Reporting to the Strategic Tender & Customer Procurement Relationship Manager and working within the Procurement Center of Excellence, the role collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory, and Tender Management teams to support procurement excellence, customer engagement, and sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Management
• Monitor public tender opportunities and timelines.
• Review tender notices, specifications, and procurement documentation, identifying requirements, risks, and opportunities.
• Coordinate the preparation and submission of technical and commercial tender documentation.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance of submissions through cross-functional collaboration.
• Support commercial teams throughout all tender phases.
Pre-Tender Activities
• Support engagement with contracting authorities and procurement stakeholders.
• Contribute to value-based purchasing initiatives, benchmarking activities, and health economics projects.
• Analyze customer needs, market trends, and procurement models within the public healthcare sector.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to identify business opportunities and influence future tender specifications.
• Provide insights into market dynamics, competitor activity, and procurement trends.
Pricing & Contract Support
• Support contract renegotiations, price revision requests, and contractual amendments.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and alignment with business objectives.
• Analyze market, economic, and contractual data to support commercial decision-making.
• Monitor contract execution, vendor ratings, and performance objectives to ensure alignment between commercial strategies and contractual obligations.
Business & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Sales Managers and Account Managers to execute commercial strategies.
• Provide regular updates on tender activities, procurement developments, and business opportunities.
• Contribute to best practice sharing and continuous process improvement.
• Maintain knowledge of public procurement legislation, healthcare purchasing models, and Public Administration procurement processes.
About You
• University degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Understanding of the Italian healthcare market, procurement environment, and demand drivers.
• Experience managing public tenders, complex negotiations, or procurement-related activities.
• Ability to operate effectively at both tactical and strategic levels while engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and business acumen, with the ability to interpret tender, procurement, and market information while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across cross-functional teams and public healthcare stakeholders.
• Understanding of public procurement processes and customer needs, with experience navigating complex public healthcare environments and relevant tender regulations.
The salary range for this position is: from 41k - 49k eur/year + incentives
