Job Description Summary
Responsible to execute Preventive Maintenance to automated equipment, support operations during ramp up after each PM execution.Responsible to analyze equipment component parts removed to understand condition and establish ideal change frequency.
Is responsible for following and updating SAP system to reflect new/removed tasks as needed to sustain/improve equipment overall efficiency.
Applies technical knowledge with regards to mechanical, electrical and pneumatics functionality, basic knowledge in PLCs and Vision Systems, Servos drivers, etc. to resolve problems in the manufacturing process after each PM intervention.
Develop initiatives to improve efficiency on all machines under his responsibility

Job Responsibilities
Execution of preventive maintenance activities, analyze parts conditions, establish ideal frequency of part changes.
Participating on update and development of CILT, CL, documents.
Follow all safety procedures and identify/communicate the necessary adjustments to address potential safety concerns, including the proper use of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).
Work with BD production, engineering, quality, operations maintenance teams to ensure that goals are met.
Maintain primary communication of performance goals and requirements identified by management.
Support QN/CAPA activities as required (Corrective and Preventive Actions) to address systemic issues in the manufacturing and quality systems.
Maintain his working area safe, clean and organized, practice GMPs on documentation and working area following 5s methodology and follow procedures per quality system.
Complies and enforces Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Generate maintenance reports and close actions on SAP of PM assigned
Education and Experience:
Minimum Education:
- BA/BS Degree Required – Industrial, Mechanical, or other Engineering.
Minimum Experience:
- Demonstrated experience reading manuals, electrical/pneumatic and mechanical drawings.
- Experience of at least 5 years working in industrial manufacturing processes.
- Minimum experience of 3 years working in maintenance of fully/semi-automated manufacturing equipment and packaging equipment.
- ERP Systems experience, such as SAP, ORACLE, JD Eduards, etc. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Access)
Knowledge and Skills
Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish).
Basic mathematics.
Good communication skills, oral and written at different levels.
Basic knowledge in Servo Motion Controls System as Kinetix Servo drives, Sinamics or similar
Basic knowledge in PLC Allen Bradley to connect and diagnose failure.
Basic knowledge of Vision Systems such as Cognex (Insight 5000, 2000, micro, Keyence CVX, IV, Banner).
Experience in ultrasonic welding,
InkJet printers (Domino, Lynx, Markem Image, Keyence).
Experience in thermos transfer printers, flexographic printers and digital printers.
Experience in any packaging equipment (Multivac, Tiromat GEA, Viking Masek, Foremost Fuji, Volpack).
Pneumatics and electropneumatic, mechanical knowledge, electronics, schematics diagram interpretation and reading.
Experience in setting, adjusting, and replacing sensors (optical, inductive, capacitive, ultrasonic, etc.)
Ability to use all type of hand tools, wrenches, drills, tapping tools, electrical, etc.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use sight, and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls, and office equipment. The employee is frequently required to verbally communicate with other associates. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.
Physical ability to do work requires frequent stopping, climbing stairs, twisting and bending frequently (more than 4 hours of each activity). Work on enclosed areas
Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instruction and visually inspect parts
Able to lift and push 50 lbs. safely.
