Job Description

About the Role

The successful candidate will execute on BU and Regional Marketing Plan and Prof ED initiatives for the development of BD Surgery solutions: Hernia, Breast & Surgical Solutions) across Other Eastern Europe and Israel The role partners closely with regional and in-country commercial teams, distributors, and European stakeholders to deliver impactful marketing initiatives, new product launches, professional education programs, and market insights, supporting sustainable business growth and customer engagement. This position offers meaningful regional exposure and ownership within a dynamic, matrix environment.

Preferred location: Romania or Croatia.

Key responsibilities:

Regional Marketing & Launch Excellence

  • Collaborates closely with region and BU marketing teams to align and execute on the regional Annual Marketing plan for all BD Surgery Platforms
  • Lead the development and execution of regional marketing plans for New Product launches, including positioning, value propositions and launch readiness tools
  • Manage marketing and medical materials through Veeva PromoMats, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely deployment

Professional Education & KOL Management

  • Manage and coordinate Surgery regional professional education programs and activities both in country and in EU Centers of Excellence in collaboration with Surgery Regional and EU teams
  • Develop a KOL program that includes KOL identification, engagement, local development, and regional development
  • Collaborate with other team members for the creation of training materials and presentation/delivery of both Immersion and Continuum training programs for internal and external education (Sales force, HCPs)

Market Insights &  Strategy

  • Work with BD Surgery regional commercial team and distributors to collect, analyze and deliver insights on market trends and dynamics, reimbursement, current clinical practice, competition, pricing
  • Conduct or acquire market research for relevant data and information required to validate marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with sales teams to support key account development, customer engagement, field activities

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Marketing or Marketing related discipline with at minimum 3–5 years of experience in marketing, product management, or product specialist roles, preferably in medical devices. Experience within surgery or surgical devices is strongly preferred.
  • Possesses strong business acumen with  excellent presentation skills (both oral and written)
  • Action oriented with demonstrated ability to drive results, able to develop current and new skills and meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities.
  • Commercial awareness with ability to demonstrate account development and growth.
  • Desire to be part of a market leading business that prides itself on delivering outstanding products and services for the benefit of customers and patients.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel regionally, including overnight stays, up to 30% of the time.
